Center of Middle Eastern Studies (CMES)

Center of Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) is a scholarly journal published by the Arabic Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta, Indonesia. CMES Journal is published biannually, in June and December.

CMES Journal features research articles and literature reviews on various topics related to Middle Eastern studies, including language, literature, culture, society, and politics. Articles are written in English, Arabic, or Indonesian.

Starting from Volume 16, Number 1, 2023, CMES Journal has introduced a fresh new journal layout and design. This update aims to refresh the appearance of the CMES Journal, align it with modern international journal standards, and provide readers with an enhanced reading experience.

The objectives of CMES Journal are as follows:

1. To publish research findings and literature reviews related to the Middle Eastern region across various fields as a platform for disseminating scholarly ideas.
2. To foster academic knowledge and insights among academics and researchers in Middle Eastern studies from diverse perspectives worldwide.
3. To serve as a platform for researchers of the Middle East worldwide to engage in academic discussions and seek scholarly solutions to regional challenges.

Historically, CMES Journal was initially published as part of the academic activities of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Faculty of Literature and Fine Arts, UNS, established under the Decree of the Dean of FSSR Number 2545/H27.1.1/KP/2009 on April 16, 2009. The establishment of the journal was a driving force behind the creation of the Arabic Literature Department. With the establishment of the Arabic Literature Department under the Decree of DIKTI Number 1762/02.2/2010 on July 2, 2010, the publication of CMES Journal became a regular academic activity organized by the department. 

Since its inception, the journal has aimed to facilitate scholarly discussions and disseminate research related to Middle Eastern studies, with contributions from academics and researchers both nationally and internationally. Over the years, CMES Journal has consistently improved its quality and broadened its scope, covering various disciplines such as literature, linguistics, history, politics, and socio-cultural studies of the Middle East. In recognition of its growing academic impact and adherence to rigorous publication standards, as of August 30, 2024, based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 177/E/KPT/2024, CMES Journal has been upgraded from SINTA-4 to SINTA-3.

Indonesian Journal of Applied Statistics

Indonesian Journal of Applied Statistics (IJAS) (e-ISSN: 2621-086X) is a journal published by Study Program of Statistics, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia in collaboration with Forum Pendidikan Tinggi Statistika (FORSTAT). This journal is published twice every year, in May and November. The editors receive scientific papers on the results of research, scientific studies, and problem solving research using statistical method. Received papers will be reviewed to assess the substance of the material feasibility and technical writing.

Jurnal Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis - Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business (p-ISSN 1979-861X e-ISSN 2549-1555) is an open-access journal published by Entrepreneurship Development Center, Institute of Research and Community Service, Universitas Sebelas Maret. Based on the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia SK No 79/E/KPT/2023 dated 11th May 2023, Jurnal Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis has been re-accredited for five years as a scientific journal (Vol. 27 No. 1 June 2022 until Vol. 31 No.2 December 2026, and indexed in SINTA 3.

Jurnal Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis - Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business is an academic, citation-indexed, and blind peer-reviewed journal. It covers original research articles and reviews on diverse topics related to entrepreneurship and business. This journal has two issues in a year and will be published in June and December.

Livestock and Animal Research

Livestock and Animal Research (Livest. Anim. Res.) publishes original research article in the field of livestock and other animal research. This journal previously titled as Sains Peternakan: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Peternakan and changed into Livestock and Animal Research in order to broaden the distribution and increase the visibility of the journal. This journal is published three times a year: March, July, and November by Sebelas Maret University associated with Perkumpulan Insinyur dan Sarjana Peternakan Indonesia (ISPI). The first edition with new journal-title is published in July 2020 (Vol. 18 No. 2) while previous editions remain the same as the previous journal that can be accessed through website: https://jurnal.uns.ac.id/Sains-Peternakan.

Livestock and Animal Research has been accredited and categorized as Sinta 2 by Directorate General of Strengthening Research and Development – Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia in 2019 (No. 10/E/KPT/2019). 

Currently, Livestock and Animal Research has been accredited and categorized as Sinta 3 started from Volume 21 No. 1 2023 up to Volume 25 No. 3 2027 by Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology – Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia in 2023 (No. 152/E/KPT/2023).

In addition, this journal has been indexed by Crossref, Google Scholar, Mendeley, Garuda (Garda Rujukan Digital), i-Focus, i-Journals, and Udledge.s

The interest of Livestock and Animal Research covering: 1) Animal Production System; 2) Animal Breeding and Genetics; 3) Animal Physiology and Reproduction; 4) Animal Nutrition and Feeding Technology; 5) Technology of Animal Product; 6) Animal Biotechnology; 7) Animal Behaviour and Welfare; 9) Socio-Economics in the field of Animal Research, and 10) Animal health. The objects of the research can be livestock, laboratory, exotic, and/or wild animals. This journal uses double blind review where all the review processes using anonymous system so that both reviewer and author identities are not revealed during the process.

As of now, we have transitioned to exclusively accepting articles in the English language to ensure a broader international readership and facilitate global knowledge exchange. Authors submitting their manuscripts to PAEDAGOGIA are kindly requested to adhere to this language requirement.
