Desa-Kota

Desa-Kota is a journal of regional, urban, and settlement planning that has the main objective to deepen the understanding of urban, rural, and regional characteristics, as well as transformations and dynamics that occur in those areas, from an empirical, theoretical, and policy perspective.

Topics covered include, but not limited to:

  1. The governance of natural environment, community, and culture within built environment
  2. The provision of urban, rural and regional infrastructure and services including the process of policy formulation and its implementation.
  3. The resiliency of city and region to recover from disaster.
  4. Sustainable settlement planning  
  5. The social, economic, political and institutional dimensions of changes that occur at urban and regional scale.
