Online Submissions

Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

Guidelines for an author of JKPK (Jurnal Kimia dan Pendidikan Kimia):

1. The manuscript submitted to JKPK (Jurnal Kimia and Pendidikan Kimia) can be a publication of original, fundamental research of unusual urgency and significance in all fields of chemistry and chemical education.
2. The Manuscript must be written in English. 
3. The Manuscript must be submitted online after registration. Use the following template to prepare your article, which you can find here.  
4. References should be in IEEE style. Kindly use the application which is intended for managing references such as Mendeley, RefWorks, Zotero (free) or Endnote, Reference Manager (paid). For Mendeley desktop, you can download it here.
5. Guideline on how to use Mendeley can also be downloaded here. This guideline is from "Pedoman Akreditasi E-Journal 2014".

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors  submitting  a  manuscript  do  so  on  the  understanding  that  if  accepted  for  publication, copyright of the article shall be assigned to JKPK (Jurnal Kimia dan Pendidikan Kimia) Department Chemistry Education, Faculty of Teacher training and Educationa  as publisher of this journal.

Please download our Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. The copyright form should be filled with respect to article and be signed originally and sent scanned document file (softcopy) to our email jkpk@fkip.uns.ac.id  or sent it to  the Editorial Office in the form of original hard copy to;
