ANALYSIS OF THE QUALITY OF CLASS X END-OF-YEAR ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS IN CHEMISTRY SUBJECTS AT SMA BATIK 1 SURAKARTA FOR THE 2019/2020 SCHOOL YEAR USING THE ANATES APPLICATION
Abstract
This study was conducted to examine (1) the quality of question items based on their suitability with question indicators, (2) the quality of question items based on the distribution of cognitive domain levels of revised bloom taxonomy, and (3) the quality of question items based on the validity of question items, test reliability, level of difficulty, discriminatory power and effectiveness of deceivers. This quantitative descriptive research uses the Anates application and manual calculations assisted by Microsoft Excel software. The research findings showed that (1) The suitability of the question items with the question indicators showed that 82.5% of the questions were declared in accordance with the question indicators, (2) the quality of the question items based on the distribution of the cognitive domain levels of the revised bloom taxonomy showed an uneven distribution of questions with a ratio of 1:5:14:0:0:0, (3) The validity of the question items had good quality where the results showed that 95% of the question items were declared valid, (4) The reliability of the PAT questions was 0.91 which showed a set the question is reliable, (5) The difficulty level on the question shows that the question has an easy difficulty level with a percentage of 77.5%, (6) The difference in the question shows that the difference in the question is categorized quite well with a percentage of 55%, (7) The effectiveness of the deceiver on the question is categorized quite well with a percentage of 42.5%. Based on these results, six questions met the accepted criteria, 27 needed to be corrected, and seven were discarded because they needed to meet the requirements. Overall, the quality of PAT question items, which are evaluations of class X chemistry subjects, is categorized as a good question
