Analisis proses pembelajaran biologi (kompetensi psikomotorik) ditinjau dari pemanfaatan laboratorium di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Klaten

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) Psychomotor Competence in the Laboratory in implementing the science approach, and (2) Optimizing Laboratory Utilization in implementing the science approach. Survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects using purposive sampling technique consisted of 5 biology teachers, 162 X grade students and 5 infrastructure staff from five state high schools in Klaten Regency. The research data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics combined with data triangulation. This study shows that in five public high schools in Klaten Regency have implemented the biology learning process by optimizing laboratory utilization of 78.94 (very good), psychomotor competence in the use of practicum tools and materials of 71.16 (good), the implementation of practicum activities of 77.19 (very good). It is concluded that psychomotor competence, and optimization of laboratory utilization in five public high schools in Klaten district have been categorized as good. The input suggestions from researchers are that the practicum tools and materials are updated again and there is a need for laboratory assistants so that activities run smoothly.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) Kompetensi Psikomotorik di Laboratorium dalam melaksanakan pendekatan sains, dan (2) Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Laboratorium dalam melaksanakan pendekatan sains. Penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian dengan teknik purposive sampling terdiri atas guru biologi sebanyak 5 orang, siswa kelas X sebanyak 162 orang dan staf sarana prasarana sebanyak 5 orang yang berasal dari lima SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Klaten. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang dipadukan dengan triangulasi data. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di lima SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Klaten telah melaksanakan proses pembelajaran biologi dengan optimalisasi pemanfaatan laboratorium sebesar 78,94 (sangat baik), kompetensi psikomotorik dalam penggunaan alat dan bahan praktikum sebesar 71,16 (baik), keterlaksanaan kegiatan praktikum sebesar 77,19 (sangat baik). Disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi psikomotorik, dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan laboratorium di lima SMA Negeri kabupaten Klaten sudah dikategorikan baik. Adapun masukan saran dari peneliti yaitu agar Alat dan Bahan praktikum di update Kembali dan perlu adanya laboran agar kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar.
