Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis arduino pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik

This research is to develop Arduino-based learning media products on human excretory system material to improve students' cognitive abilities. The background of this study is the limitations and lack of learning media used, as well as the low mastery of concepts in the excretory system material. The feasibility of learning media is seen from the average score of the validator's assessment. The research instruments used were expert and science teacher validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and cognitive ability test questions. The results of the research based on the results of the validator's assessment show that the resulting Arduino-based learning media has a feasibility value for all aspects indicated by an average of 82.47%. Based on the student response questionnaire, the average score was 85.47%. Based on the teacher's response questionnaire, an average score of 100% is included in the good category, this shows that Arduino-based learning media is appropriate for use in learning. Based on the results of the N-Gain trial, an increase in students' cognitive abilities was obtained by 0.62 in the moderate category and showed that the media was effectively used. Therefore it can be concluded that the use of Arduino-based learning media in the material of the human excretory system in effective learning is to improve students' cognitive abilities.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran berbasis Arduino pada materi sistem eksresi manusia untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu keterbatasan dan kurangnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan, serta masih rendahnya penguasaan konsep pada materi sistem ekskresi. Kelayakan media pembelajaran dilihat dari rata-rata skor penilaian validator. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli dan guru IPA, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, dan soal tes kemampuan kognitif. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Arduino yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai kelayakan untuk keseuruhan aspek ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,47%. Berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 85,47% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan angket respon guru mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 100% termasuk dalam kategori baik, hal ini menujukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Arduino layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba N-Gain diperoleh peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik sebesar 0,62 dan menunjukkan bahwa media efektif digunakan. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Arduino pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia dalam pembelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik.
