Profil keterampilan metakognitif siswa pada pembelajaran biologi secara online di masa pandemi covid-19

Pendidikan di abad 21 menuntut peserta didik memiliki keterampilan yang mampu menunjang aktivitasnya di dunia kerja. Keterampilan yang dibutuhkan antara lain keterampilan pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, dan metakognitif. Aktivitas metakognitif berhubungan dengan pengorganisasian informasi, pengalaman, tujuan, dan strategi yang mendukung pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap profil keterampilan metakognitif siswa SMA dalam pembelajaran biologi online selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Keterampilan metakognitif adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk mengontrol proses berpikir. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei. Survei dilakukan dengan menyebarkan google form yang berisi kuesioner MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan persentase deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA. Sampel penelitian ini adalah sampel acak seluruh siswa. Subyek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil survei digunakan untuk mengetahui data tentang kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Hasil keterampilan metakognitif siswa dari setiap aspek adalah kondisional 26,7%, perencanaan 24,3%, pemantauan 22,8%, deklaratif 20,5%, prosedural 20,3%, dan evaluasi 17,8%.

 Metacognitive skills profile of students on online biological learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Education in the 21st century requires students to have skills that are able to support their activities in the world of work. The skills needed include problem solving, communication, and metacognitive skills. Metacognitive activities relate to organizing information, experiences, goals, and strategies that support problem solving. This study aims to reveal the profile of high school students' metacognitive skills in online biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Metacognitive skills are a person's ability to control the thinking process. This research is a type of qualitative research. The technique of collecting data using survey methods. The survey was conducted by distributing a google form containing the MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) questionnaire then analyzed by using a descriptive percentage. The study population was all high school students. The research sample was a random sample of all students. Subjects were selected using random sampling technique. The survey results were used to find out data about students' metacognitive skills. The results of students' metacognitive skills from every aspect were 26.7% conditional, 24.3% planning, 22.8% monitoring, 20.5% declarative, 20.3% procedural, and 17.8% evaluation.
