As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Research and Manuscript:
- The manuscript must make a meaningful contribution to educational research.
- The methodology should be robust and clearly described.
- Data and findings should be transparently presented and accurately interpreted.
- The manuscript must include the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
- All formatting, font types/sizes, and margins must conform to the PAEDAGOGIA journal template
Title :
- Title is written using Roboto Condensed, 18 pt, bold, single spacing.
- Each word in the title starts with a capital letter (Title Case)
- Title is short and clear, with a maximum of 16 words.
- No abbreviations are used unless they are widely recognized and commonly understood.
Abstract and Keywords:
- Abstract is written using Roboto Condensed, 9 pt, single spacing, and justified alignment.
- The abstract is 200–250 words in length.
- Abstract includes a brief description of the: Research problem, Research objective, Research methods (including models, subjects, instruments, and data collection techniques), Analytical methods, Research conclusion
- Abstract avoids unfamiliar abbreviations.
- Abstract does not include raw numbers or detailed statistical results; numbers are narrated for clarity.
- Keywords are written using Book Antiqua, 9 pt, single spacing, and justified alignment.
- A maximum of five keywords are provided.
- Keywords reflect the core concepts of the article.
- Keywords avoid general terms, plural forms, and multiple concepts in a single keyword.
Introduction:
- Section heading is written as "INTRODUCTION", using Roboto Condensed, 12 pt, bold, center aligned, and 1.5 spacing.
- Introduction discusses: Burning issues and problem background, Relevant prior research studies, Urgency and significance of the research, Research objectives, Expected contributions, and Explains research problems and variables comprehensively.
- Prior studies are used for research positioning and to highlight novelty.
- Citations are formatted according to APA 7th edition. In-text references follow APA 7th edition guidelines. Authors are encouraged to use reference managers (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote, etc.).
- Reference sources are ideally from the last ten years. Priority is given to primary sources such as research articles, theses, and dissertations.
- Body text uses Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, single spacing, and is justified.
Method:
- Section heading is written as "METHOD", using Roboto Condensed, 12 pt, bold, center aligned, and 1.5 spacing.
- Subheadings use Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, bold, justified, and 1.5 spacing.
- The methods section clearly describes the research process.
- Includes detailed explanation of research methods, models, participants, research instruments, data collection techniques, and data analysis.
- A research flowchart is included (recommended).
- Subtitles may be added as needed to improve clarity and structure.
- Body text uses Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, justified, and 1.5 spacing.
Result and Discussion:
- Section heading is written as "RESULT AND DISCUSSION", using Roboto Condensed, 12 pt, bold, center aligned, and 1.5 spacing.
- Content includes clear, concise explanations of research results that are sharply and critically analyzed and synthesized.
- Includes descriptions of findings, discussions, and critical comparisons with previous studies.
- Significance of the results is discussed, not merely repeated.
- Sub-chapters may be used if several variables are involved.
- A combined Results and Discussion format is acceptable.
- Subheadings use Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, bold, center aligned, single spacing.
- Body text uses Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, justified, and 1.5 spacing.
Tables:
- Table titles are center aligned, using Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, single spacing.
- Table contents use Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, single spacing, and are center aligned.
- Tables are numbered and titled (e.g., Table 1. Format of Table).
Equations:
- Equations are created using the Microsoft Word equation feature (not images).
- Equations are numbered in parentheses and right-aligned (e.g., (1)).
Figures and Graphs:
- Figures/graphs use Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, center aligned, single spacing.
- Each figure/graph is labeled and numbered appropriately (e.g., Figure 1. Attached figure in article).
Conclusion:
- Section heading is written as "CONCLUSION", using Roboto Condensed, 12 pt, bold, center aligned, and 1.5 spacing.
- Subheadings (if used) are in Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, bold, center aligned, and single spacing.
- Avoids repetition of sentences from the problem statement or research objectives.
- Presents a strong synthesis of research findings.
- Includes theoretical contributions to previous research.
- Explains the implications of the study's findings.
- Identifies research limitations.
- Provides suggestions for future research.
- Offers comprehensive insight into the significance of the research outcomes.
- Body text uses Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, justified, and 1.5 spacing.
Acknowledgements:
- Section heading is written as "ACKNOWLEDGMENTS", using Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, bold, center aligned, and single spacing.
- Acknowledgments are placed before the references in a separate section.
- Includes information on grants received, contributors, or institutions that supported the research.
- Acknowledgments are not placed as a footnote on the title page.
- Body text uses Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, justified, and single spacing.
References:
- Section heading is written as "REFERENCES", using Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, bold, center aligned, and single spacing.
- All references follow the APA 7th Edition citation style.
- Reference list is placed at the end of the manuscript.
- Each reference entry includes:
- Author(s) (Last name, initials)
- Year of publication in parentheses
- Title of the article (sentence case, no quotation marks)
- Journal name in italics, volume number in italics, issue number (if any), page range
- DOI or URL if available
- In-text citations are formatted according to APA 7th Edition (e.g., Burmeister et al., 2013).
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote).
- Reference sources are ideally from the last ten years, with priority given to primary sources such as journal articles, theses, or dissertations.
- All entries are arranged in alphabetical order by the surname of the first author.
- Hanging indent is applied for each reference entry.
- Body text uses Roboto Condensed, 11 pt, justified, and single spacing.

- Authors are encouraged to use professional editing services or certified proofreading tools prior to submission.
Supporting Documents:
- Upload all supplementary materials, if applicable, to support the article. These may include:
– Datasets used in the study (in Excel, CSV, or relevant formats).
– Appendices that contain additional explanations, raw data, extended tables, or figures.
– Interview transcripts, observation notes, or coding sheets (if part of qualitative research).
– Instrument validation results, such as reliability and validity test outcomes.
– Ethical clearance letters or consent forms (if involving human subjects).
- Ensure all supporting documents are:
– Clearly named and organized.
– Referenced appropriately in the main manuscript (e.g., “see Appendix A”).
– Uploaded in editable formats when possible (e.g., DOCX, XLSX, or PDF).
