Efforts to Improve Math Learning Outcomes About Presenting Data Through The Inquiry Learning Method In Class VI Students Of Public Elementary School 3 Dorang
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in presenting data in class VI semester 2 SDN 3 Dorang 2019/2020 school year. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. The research subjects were grade VI students of SDN 3 Dorang in the 2019/2020 academic year. The object of research is Mathematics learning material Presenting Data. Data analysis uses Comparative Descriptive Analysis Techniques by comparing the results of observations and reflections on cycle 1 and cycle 2. With the application of the Inquiri Learning method on the material presenting data, learning outcomes increase. Through the comparison of the average value in the initial conditions of cycle 1 and cycle 2, namely 62.7; 70.9; and 87.3 and the comparison of the percentage of completeness in the initial conditions of 36.4% in cycle 1 54.5% and cycle 2.90%, it can be said that this learning is positive, meaning that applying the Inquiri Learning method can improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics material presenting data in class VI.
