The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of eleventh grade students at a senior high school in Sukoharjo in the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used is purposive sampling. The sample used was class XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 3, totaling 72 students. The data collection technique used was a matter of pre-test and post test. The analysis technique used is the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) test. The results of this study indicate that in learning outcomes there are effective results between the problem-based learning model and the students’ learning outcomes. The average value in research learning outcomes was obtained at 72,1 so that it can be concluded that the use of problem-based learning models is effective for learning outcomes.
