PENGEMBANGAN MODUL BIOLOGI BERBASIS PROBLEM SOLVING PADA MATERI SISTEM EKSRESI KELAS XI IPA SMAN 2 LUBUK ALUNG

Abstract

This study aims to develop a material-based problem solving module in the XI IPA SMAN 2 Lubuk Alung class system. This type of research is a research development that uses a 3-D model of 4-D consisting of Defin (definition), Design (design), and Development (development). The subjects of this study were from 2 (two) lecturers as test validators, and practicality by 1 (one) biology teacher and 24 students of class XI of SMAN 2 Lubuk Alung. The data of this study are primary data obtained from the validity and practicality questionnaire, which were compiled using a Likert scale and then analyzed with descriptive analysis. The results of the study are in the form of biology modules based on validated problem solving that are valid both from the content feasibility component (85%), the language component (83.33%) and the presentation component (75%). The resulting problem-solving based module was also categorized as practicality for the teacher 79.17% benefit component with a value of 95% Attractiveness component with a value of 80% the learning time component with a value of 93.75%. Categorized as practical for 24 students from components that use a value of  86.04% benefit component with a value of 88.54% the aspect of attractiveness with a value of  86.46% and  of learning aspect time with a value of 94.79%. This shows that the problem-based module on the excretion system material produced is valid and practical for use in biology learning in high school.
