Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di beberapa wilayah Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu guru sekolah menengah kejuruan bidang bisnis dan manajemen yang telah bersertifikasi. Ada sejumlah 155 guru yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data memanfaatkan angket kepuasan kerja dan angket kinerja guru. Untuk menghasilkan instrument yang baik, peneliti melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas pada instrument angket terlebih dahulu sebelum disebarluaskan kepada seluruh sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) yang dioperasikan dengan Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL). Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa kepuasan kerja tidak berdampak pada kinerja guru. Temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi teori dan praktis bagi para pemangku kebijakan untuk lebih memperhatikan aspek peningkatan kinerja guru guna pemaksimalan kualitas pendidikan di seluruh wilayah dunia. Peneliti mendatang diharapkan dapat menguji factor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru, seperti kepemimpinan kepala sekolah atau konflik keluarga.
