Abstract

This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes in calculating the volume of cubes and blocks in fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Sringin in the 2020/2021 academic year by applying the Cooperation Learning Type Numbered Head Together learning model. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the implementation of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, such as planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. As research subjects were students and teachers of class V SD Negeri 03 Sringin for the 2020/2021 academic year. A total of 25 students consisting of 16 male students and 9 female students. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model analysis technique which consists of three components of analysis, such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that applying the Cooperative Type Numbered Head Together learning model can improve learning outcomes in Mathematics calculating the volume of cubes and blocks in class V SD Negeri 03 Sringin in the 2020/2021 academic year. The average value of student learning outcomes before the action is 64. In cycle I, the average value of student learning outcomes is 70.4. In cycle I, it increased to 17 students (68%). In cycle II, it increased again to 23 students (92%).
