Pengaruh Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Sosiodrama untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Hormat Siswa Kepada Guru di SMK Ma’arif 1 Kroya

Abstract

Respect for teachers is an important aspect of students’ character development; however, some students still demonstrate insufficient levels of respect toward their teachers. This study aimed to analyze students’ respect toward teachers and examine the effect of group guidance services using the sociodrama technique on improving students’ respect toward teachers at SMK Ma’arif 1 Kroya. This study employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 36 students, while 8 students with low levels of respect were selected as the research sample through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain test. The results showed that the mean pretest score of 155 increased to 176 in the posttest. The Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the scores before and after the intervention. The N-Gain analysis produced a mean score of 0.5984, categorized as moderate, with a percentage of 59.84%, classified as quite effective. Therefore, group guidance services using the sociodrama technique demonstrated moderate effectiveness in improving students’ respect toward teachers.
