Pendampingan Berbasis Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Sekolah Dasar dalam Implementasi Pembelajaran Mendalam (Deep Learning)

Abstract

The implementation of Deep Learning is considered a strategic approach to enhancing the quality of learning and supporting the realization of quality education for all (Education for All). This community service program aimed to strengthen the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen Regency through mentoring on the implementation of Deep Learning based on the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The program employed the ABCD approach, which focuses on optimizing the assets, potentials, and resources available within the educational community. The mentoring process was conducted through six stages: preparing, discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. The activity was carried out over two days and involved 245 teachers from Elementary Schools in Kebumen Regency. Evaluation was conducted using a pretest-posttest design to measure participants’ improvement in understanding the concepts and implementation of Deep Learning. The findings revealed that participants achieved a good level of understanding, with an average post-test score of 85.75. Furthermore, the learning gain analysis yielded an N-Gain score of 0.67, which falls within the moderate category, indicating that the mentoring program was effective in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence related to the implementation of Deep Learning.
