Efektivitas Strategi Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share terhadap Penguatan Keterampilan Komunikasi, Kolaborasi, dan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level needs to develop communication skills, collaboration skills, and learning outcomes as essential components of 21st-century learning. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model Think  Pair Share (TPS) in improving elementary school students’ communication skills, collaboration skills, and Indonesian language learning outcomes. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by searching for scientific articles available through Google Scholar. Of the 15 articles screened based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 6 articles were selected for descriptive-comparative analysis. The synthesis results indicate that TPS has a positive impact on communication skills through activities involving think ing, discussion, and expressing opinions. TPS also enhances collaboration through Pair work, the exchange of ideas, shared responsibility, and interaction among students. In addition, TPS improves Indonesian language learning outcomes, student engagement, self-confidence, and students’ willingness to express their opinions. Therefore, TPS is an effective and relevant model for Indonesian language learning in elementary schools, supporting the development of active, participatory, and meaningful student competencies.
