Penggunaan model pembelajaran quantum teaching untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis aksara jawa pada peserta didik kelas VI sekolah dasar

Abstract

The research aims to improve Javanese script writing skills using the quantum teaching learning model for class VI students at SD Negeri Pajang IV Surakarta. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The research used two cycles with two meetings in each cycle. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the research were students and teachers of class VI at SD Negeri Pajang IV Surakarta. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation and tests. Data collection tools use interview guides, observation sheets, and question grids. Data validity testing techniques using content validity and technical triangulation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman data analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that there is an increase in Javanese writing skills using the quantum teaching model. This can be proven by comparing the percentage of student completion in pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. In pre-cycle activities, 7 students out of 18 students completed writing Javanese script or 38,89%. In cycle I, the percentage of students who completed writing Javanese script was 61,11% or 11 students out of 18 students. In cycle II, the percentage of students who completed was 83,3% or 15 out of 18 students.
