Pengaruh Model Guided Discovery Learning Berbantuan Thunkable Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Peserta Didik Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low IPAS learning outcomes of fourth-grade students, which were caused by a lack of variation in instructional media and learning models that involved student activity in the learning process. This study aimed to analyze the effect of implementing the Guided Discovery Learning model assisted by Thunkable on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan. The research method used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest type. The study population included grades III, IV, and V at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan, totaling 121 students. Sampling was carried out using convenience sampling, and a sample of 40 fourth-grade students was obtained. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques and were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank nonparametric test because the data were not normally distributed. The analysis yielded an asymp. sig. value of 0.001, which was smaller than the 0.05 significance level, indicating a significant effect of the implementation of the Guided Discovery Learning model assisted by Thunkable on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan.
