About the Journal

Javanologi: International Journal of Javanese Studies (e-ISSN: 3025-1877, p-ISSN: 2580-6122) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal published semiannually in June and December. First published in 2017 under the official decree of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) No. 0005.25806122/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2017.07, the journal is managed by the University Centre of Excellence (PUI) Javanologi, Universitas Sebelas Maret.

The journal serves as a multidisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners dedicated to advancing original research, critical theoretical surveys, and interdisciplinary studies on Javanese culture and heritage.
