Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (JAEDC) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Master of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia. It is published twice a year, in March and September. JAEDC is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide an international academic platform for research in economics, business, and management, particularly in developing countries.

JAEDC focuses on economics, business, and management in developing countries and presents current developments through the publication of research articles and research reports. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars across related disciplines, particularly research addressing economic, business, policy, and development issues in developing countries. Novelty and timeliness of research are among the journal’s priorities in publishing.

To support the quality of the journal, editorial board members have been invited from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Australia. Meanwhile, authors have contributed from several countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain, Poland, Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Peer reviewers involved in the editorial process have come from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Libya.
