Focus and Scope

     The Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (AEDC) aims to cover the empirical studies that employ quantitative and qualitative research approach.  This journal is published by the Program of Master of Economics and Development Studies  Faculty of Economics and Business,  Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Indonesia. It was established in March 2014 and this will be issued twice a year which are every March and September.

    Editor manages the review for every submission to the journal. This is a blind review by two reviewers. The editors will determine whether the manuscripts should be published, rejected, or revised, based on the recommendations of reviewers. Further, the managing editors will inform the decision of the submission to the authors. Based on the recommendation from the journal, the authors can revise the manuscript.

FOCUS

This journal focused on economics, business, and management in developing countries studies and presents developments through the publication of articles and research reports.

SCOPE

     The Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (AEDC) specializes on Economics, Business, and Management in developing countries, and is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines.

Peer Review Process

     Editor manages the review for every submission to the journal. This is a blind review by two reviewers. The editors will determine whether the manuscripts should be published, rejected, or revised, based on the recommendations of reviewers. Further, the managing editors will inform the decision of the submission to the authors. Based on the recommendation from the journal, the authors can revise the manuscript.

     The publication of every manuscript has to comply with the research scientific principles. The authors of the manuscript have to make sure that the manuscript has not been published  or under the consideration to be published in other journals, and does not indicate plagiarism.

 

Publication Frequency

AEDC will be issued twice a year which are every March and September.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Plagiarism

The Editorial board of  Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (AEDC) recognizes that plagiarism is not acceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) upon identification of plagiarism/similarities in articles submitted for publication in Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (AEDC) will use iThenticate's similarity checking feature as the tool in detecting similarities of texts in article manuscripts and the final version articles ready for publication. A maximum of 25 % of similarities is allowed for the submitted papers. Should we find more than 25 % of the similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and re-submission
