Efforts To Improve Student Learning Outcomes Through Problem Based Learning Models In Thematic Learning
Abstract
The aim is to improve student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research subjects were fifth grade students at Pengkol Elementary School. This research procedure with two cycles. The variables of this study were problem based learning (PBL) and student learning outcomes. Observation data collection techniques, questionnaires and test sheets. The research instruments were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and test sheets. The average data on knowledge learning outcomes in cycle I obtained the percentage of classical learning mastery of 64.29% with incomplete criteria and increased in cycle II to 78.57% with complete criteria. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model can increase motivation and learning outcomes.
