Hubungan Durasi Penggunaan Gadget Dengan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa Kelas Tinggi SD Negeri 2 Srowot

Abstract

The development of digital technology influences students' lives, one of which is the use of gadgets that can be related to the development of students' social skills. This study aims to determine the duration of gadget use, the level of social skills, and the relationship between the duration of gadget use and the social skills of upper-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Srowot. The research uses a quantitative approach with statistical methods. The population consists of 83 students, and all of them were used as the sample. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The research results show that the duration of gadget use falls into the high category for 30 students or 36%. Meanwhile, the students' social skills are in the moderate category, with 28 students or 33%. The correlation test results indicate a significance value of 0.07 > 0.05 with a positive relationship, thus Ho is accepted. It is concluded that there is no significant relationship between the duration of gadget use and the social skills of high-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Srowot
