Abstract

Strengthening teachers' soft skills is a critical factor in fostering humanistic learning and promoting students' character development. However, the implementation of the Love Curriculum (Kurikulum Cinta) in schools continues to face several challenges, particularly teachers' limited understanding of how to integrate the curriculum's core values into classroom instruction. This community service program aimed to strengthen teachers' soft skills through mentoring on the implementation of Deep Learning based on the Love Curriculum in Kebumen Regency, Indonesia. The program involved 160 teachers and was conducted in four stages: planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The mentoring activities included strengthening teachers' understanding of the concepts of Deep Learning and the Love Curriculum, soft skills development, the design of teaching and assessment materials, classroom practice, as well as feedback and reflective sessions. Program evaluation was carried out through classroom observations, assessment of participants' instructional products, and participants' reflections on the implementation process. The results indicated that the mentoring program enhanced teachers' understanding of Deep Learning and the Love Curriculum, improved their ability to develop instructional and assessment materials, and strengthened essential soft skills. Participants also responded positively to the program, highlighting its practical and contextual learning experiences. These findings suggest that mentoring is an effective strategy for enhancing teachers' professional competencies and soft skills in implementing Deep Learning based on the Love Curriculum.
