Efektivitas Teknik Trait and Factor Terhadap Career Matturty Santri

Abstract

Career maturity is crucial for final-year students in understanding their self-potential, exploring educational and vocational options, and shaping their future. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of Trait and Factor-based group counseling services in enhancing the career maturity of female final-year students at Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin Kesugihan. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, 16 students were selected through purposive sampling and assigned to experimental and control groups. The findings indicated that the average score for the experimental group rose from 64.50 to 88.37. A Paired Sample T-Test revealed a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a notable improvement in career maturity following the counseling intervention. Therefore, Trait and Factor-based group counseling services effectively enhance the career maturity of female final-year students.
