Abstract

A reliance on concrete objects as the primary form of learning media can stifle students' imaginations. This study aimed to determine the development process, feasibility, and practicality of a virtual reality trip animation video designed for Indonesian language lessons covering direct and indirect speech. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The participants were 31 students from class III-C at SD Al Irsyad 02 Cilacap. Data analysis was conducted using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that the developed media received ratings of 87.5% from subject matter experts, 87.5% from media experts, and 90% from language experts, all indicating a "highly feasible" classification. Group trials yielded a teacher rating of 97.5% and a student response rate of 83.9%, while field trials resulted in a teacher rating of 97.5% and a student response rate of 88.9%, all indicating a "highly practical" classification. Consequently, the virtual reality trip media is deemed highly feasible and practical for use.
