Gamifikasi pada Pembelajaran dalam Meningkatkan Kolaborasi Siswa Sekolah Dasar: Literature Review
Abstract
The process of learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the primary school level requires an approach that enhances student engagement, collaboration skills, and learning outcomes to maximize the achievement of learning objectives. This study examines the application of gamification in primary school IPAS instruction and its impact on student collaboration and learning achievement. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was employed, involving a search for relevant national and international scholarly articles regarding gamification in primary education. Searches across Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, and ScienceDirect yielded 20 articles published between 2017 and 2026 that met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that gamification components such as missions, challenges, points, rewards, and leaderboards effectively boost student motivation and active participation throughout the learning process. The synthesis reveals that gamification generally contributes positively to motivation, engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes; however, the magnitude of this impact varies depending on the choice of gamification elements, instructional design, intervention duration, subject matter context, and student characteristics. Thus, gamification can be viewed as an effective and promising approach for enhancing students' collaboration skills in IPAS learning.
