Fenomena "Islam Instan" di TikTok: Analisis Dampak Durasi Konten Pendek terhadap Pemahaman Keagamaan Remaja di Kabupaten Kebumen

Abstract

The development of technology has given rise to digital da'wah on TikTok which offers religious material in short durations, triggering the phenomenon of "Instant Islam" among the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the impact of TikTok's short content duration on religious understanding and worship motivation among adolescents in Kebumen Regency. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument distributed to 24 respondents aged 12-22 years, and data were analyzed using descriptive percentage statistics. The results showed that the majority of respondents (95.8%) stated that short da'wah videos (less than 3 minutes) were easy to understand and effective in stimulating increased knowledge of worship such as prayer, ablution, prophetic stories, as well as improving interpersonal morals. In addition, psychological effects in the form of peace of mind were felt by 91.7% of respondents which also encouraged motivation to pray on time (95.9%) and increased politeness towards parents (95.8%). The conclusion of this study is that TikTok media with short content duration is proven effective as a supplementary instrument for daily religious education that is applicable for adolescents.
