Hubungan Kewarganegaraan Ekologis dan Kemampuan Pengambilan Keputusan Siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah

Abstract

The increasing complexity of environmental issues requires individuals to possess an awareness of their role as ecological citizens and the ability to make responsible decisions. This study aimed to identify the relationship between ecological citizenship and students' decision-making abilities. A correlational research design was employed, involving 77 fifth-grade students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. Data were collected using questionnaires and tests, then analyzed through prerequisite testing and non-parametric hypothesis testing. The results indicate no significant relationship between ecological citizenship and decision-making ability, with a correlation coefficient of −0.035 and a significance value of p=0.764. This coefficient reflects a negative relationship of very weak strength. In conclusion, there is no significant relationship between ecological citizenship and decision-making ability.
