Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Melalui Model PBL dengan Media Pembelajaran Advance Puzzle Pada Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the key competencies that need to be developed in Akidah Akhlak instruction. This study aims to enhance the creative thinking skills of eighth-grade students at MTs Plus Nurul Ihsan through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model aided by the Advanced Puzzle media. This study employed the Classroom Action Research method, conducted in two cycles, comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and creative thinking ability tests, and were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed improvements in the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The average creative thinking ability increased from 88.00 in Cycle I to 90.75 in Cycle II, while the classical mastery rate increased from 80% to 90%. Thus, the implementation of PBL supported by Advanced Puzzle can serve as an alternative learning approach to enhance students’ creative thinking skills in Akidah Akhlak instruction.
