Analysis of the Implementation of the Basic Literacy Movement in Supporting Education Report at SDN 2 Sragen

Abstract

Report card is an assessment of school activities for one year. One of the assessments that focuses on is literacy. The Literacy movement became a phenomenon in the assessment in the 2024 Education Report Card for Sine 2 Sragen State Elementary School. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) planning of basic literacy movement, 2) Implementation of basic literacy movement, 3) evaluation of literacy movement. The type of research is descriptive qualitative, research subjects are principals, teachers and learners. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation analysis. Data validation by triangulation with interview and data matching techniques. The results showed that :1) planning of basic literacy programs, including: facilities and learning programs; 2) Implementation in basic literacy programs, playing while learning (Mass), including: a) Implementation in using facilities, including: addition of non-lesson books with a ratio of 1 learner : 1 Book b) interpreting texts according to the proportion of learners ' abilities; 3) evaluation of the basic literacy program, an increase in the score of 27.73 to 100, which includes: an increase of 43.75% for learners with literacy skills above the minimum competence; a decrease of 16.48% for learners with literacy skills reaching the minimum competence; and a decrease of 27.27% for learners with literacy skills below the minimum competence. The conclusion of the study is the implementation of basic literacy programs through the Mass need for planning, implementation, and results, which in real terms can be implemented by the school and has a target outlined in the report card.
