Implementasi kompetensi kepemimpinan pengembangan sekolah dalam melibatkan orang tua/wali murid dan masyarakat dalam pengembangan sekolah di madrasah ibtidaiyah

Abstract

Identifying how the principal of MI Muhammadiyah Doyong implements school development leadership competencies in involving parents and communities in school development is the purpose of this study. The researcher used a qualitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires, reviewing document, and interviews. Triangulation techniques were utilized to confirm the authenticity of the data, and the Miles and Huberman model was applied for data analysis. The results reveal that school development leadership competence in involving parents and the community at MI Muhammadiyah Doyong is in the 'proficient' category. The principal not only communicates the importance of school development and its outcomes and provides opportunities for parents/guardians and the community to participate, but also establishes mechanisms that facilitate the communication of development outcomes and the provision of such opportunities.
