Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of outdoor study methods based on traditional hopscotch games on students' social skills in social studies subjects. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the outdoor study method based on the traditional hopscotch game affects students' social skills in social studies subjects. The method used is an experimental method. The instrument used in this study was a social skills questionnaire grid from the Gresham category of social skills dimensions. The population in this study were VA class students at SDIT Persis 99 Rancabango, with a total of 21 students. The research sample consisted of 15 statements taken using saturated sampling techniques. Based on the results of testing and data analysis, it was determined that t-count of social skills was 22.43 > t-table 2.08, so h1 was accepted, meaning that there was an influence of outdoor study learning methods based on traditional hopscotch games on students' social skills in social studies class V.
