PEMBINAAN PENGELOLA PERPUSTAKAAN DESA OLEH DINAS KEARSIPAN DAN PERPUSTAKAAN KOTA SURAKARTA

Abstract


Village library is a place to increase reading interest of the community in Surakarta.
Therefore, efforts should be made to improve the quality of village libraries. One
of the efforts is by implementing Technical Guidance Library Management. These
activities are carried out by the Archives and Surakarta City Library. The method used
in this research is qualitative. Data collection was done by observation, interview and
documentation. The results show that the Technical Guidance of Library Management
contributes to the village library managers through training so that the managers
have new knowledge about library management to be implemented in their respective
libraries.
