Dinamika Interaksi Teman Sebaya: Memahami Dampaknya terhadap Perilaku Bullying di Kalangan Remaja

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between peer interaction and bullying behavior in adolescents, aiming to identify effective strategies to reduce bullying. Using a quantitative approach, the study employs simple regression analysis to analyze data collected through a Likert scale. The sample consisted of 232 adolescents selected through random sampling. The findings reveal that peer interaction has a significant negative impact on bullying behavior, with a regression coefficient of -0.412. This implies that an increase in positive peer interactions can lead to a decrease in bullying behavior by 0.412 units. The study suggests that schools should implement intervention programs that promote cooperation and communication among students, as well as strengthen the role of guidance and counseling to support social and emotional development in adolescents. Overall, fostering positive peer interactions can effectively reduce bullying behavior among adolescents.
