News: Deciding to Increase the Publication Fee

Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture is deciding to increase the publication fee from 1,000,000 IDR (70 USD) to 3,000,000 IDR (200 USD) per article, effective since Vol 38, No 2 October 2023. We are increasing the publication fee because we need to arrange costs to cover the copyediting - proofreading services, maintain memberships of CrossRef-DOI, Web of Science Reviewer Recognition Service (by Clarivate), and other partnerships. The increasing publication fee will also help cover the subsidy for waiver authors who do not have funds to pay such fees. We commit to offer a waiver for authors from low-income countries having high-quality articles. Since 2019, 27 articles have been waived for the article publication fee.
