Journal of Law, Society, and Islamic Civilization (JoLSIC) is managed by Law and Society Department, Faculty of Law, Sebelas Maret University, and published twicce a year, in April and October. JoLSIC aims primarily to facilitate undergraduate students and other scholar papers over current development on Islamic Law and Customary Law issues in Indonesia as well as to publish innovative legal researches concerning Indonesian laws and legal system in general. It provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to public support a greater global exchange of knowledge. The scope of the articles published in Parental Journal deal with a broad range of topics in the fields of law in general, but the main focus are in the Customary Law and Islamic Law provisions. The purpose of this journal is to promote research and studies on the topic of Islamic Law and Customary Law. Central topics of concern included, but not limited to - Integration of Customary Law and Islamic Law - Development of Islamic Law and Customaty Law - Existance of Customary Law - Islamic Economy Law Influnce - Legal Pluralism - Technical Challenges Faced in Corporating Islamic Law and Customary Law - Law and Society
