Aktivitas Bernyanyi: Strategi Pedagogis Pendukung Regulasi Emosi dan Dinamika Iklim Kelas

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of singing activities as a pedagogical strategy to support students' emotion regulation and to analyze classroom climate dynamics during learning in Grade IV at SD Negeri Cemani 02 Sukoharjo. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data consisted of the implementation of singing activities, students' emotional responses, and interaction dynamics during learning. Data were collected through observations, interviews with students and the teacher, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data trustworthiness was examined through technique triangulation. The findings show that students' emotion regulation during singing activities was reflected in emotional awareness, emotional control, and both verbal and nonverbal emotional expression. Classroom climate dynamics were evident in students' engagement in the activities, learning experiences perceived as enjoyable, and cohesion while participating in collective activities. The findings depict the emotional and social conditions observed while the singing activities took place. These results provide an overview of the use of singing activities as a pedagogical strategy that attends to students' emotional and social aspects in elementary school learning.
