GeoEco is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia and in collaboration with the Indonesian Geographic Association (IGI) (LoA). GeoEco is a journal that covers all fields of education and science related to geography and the environment. This journal aims to reveal facts, problems and problem-solving that can be used as input for the Government, institutions, communities and individuals. GeoEco accepts scientific research, reviews, and discussion papers on environmental sustainability, geographic science, and geographic education. GeoEco is published twice a year, in January and July.

GeoEco is a nationally accredited journal (SINTA Accreditation Rank 2) based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 177/E/KPT/2024.
