GeoEco is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on geographic and geospatial research that examines the dynamic relationships among space, environment, society, and education. The journal provides a scholarly platform for theoretically informed and empirically grounded research that uses spatial perspectives to investigate spatial patterns, human–environment interactions, environmental change, sustainability, disaster risk and resilience, and geography education across different scales.

GeoEco is published twice a year, in January and July. GeoEco is a nationally accredited journal (SINTA Accreditation Rank 2) based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 177/E/KPT/2024. GeoEco is also indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
