ANALISIS SEBARAN, DAMPAK DAN ADAPTASI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP BANJIR ROB DI KECAMATAN SEMARANG TIMUR DAN KECAMATAN GAYAMSARI KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

The aim of this research is: (1) Analyzing the distribution of tidal in the Eastern District of Semarang and Gayamsari District in Semarang. (2) Assessing the impact of the tidal, (3) Find out the adaptation of society in the face of the tidal. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The research location in the district of East Semarang and District Gayamsari with validation using triangulation techniques. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Source of research data consist of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques such as observation, documentation and interview. Based on the results of this study concluded that: (1) Distribution of the tidal in District East Semarang spread as far as 5,5 Km from the Java Sea and District Gayamsari spread as far as 3,5 Km from the Java Sea and the area close to the beach or the river. (2) Impact of the tidal physically caused the house, broken furniture, destroyed roads and vehicles. Economic impact of congestion, the store closed, lonely buyer, the loss of time and the activities of citizens are disturbed. Health impacts caused diarrhea, skin diseases, itching, irritation, water fleas. Environmental impact of garbage, causing waterlogging. (3) Community Adaptation, elevating the house, build a barrier on the door, building embankments, elevation of the road and alert citizens. While the government, building a polder, floodgates, emergency dike and pump house.
