PENGARUH PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG KREATIVITAS GURU DAN PERAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA
Abstract
Abstract This study aimed to examine (1) the effect of students' perceptions of teachers’ creativity on students' learning motivation; (2) the influence of students' perceptions of the role of parents on students' learning motivation; (3) the influence of students' perceptions of teachers’ creativity, and the role of parents on students' learning motivation. The study applied descriptive quantitative research design. The population in this study were students of class X to XII Accounting and Financial Institutions at a Senior High School in Surakarta. The samples were taken from the research population of 175 students using the Proportionate Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was questionnaire. The results of this study were (1) there was a positive and significant influence on teachers’ creativity as seen from students' perceptions of student learning motivation as indicated by the t-test significance value of 0.009 (Sig <0.05); (2) there was a positive and significant influence on the role of parents as seen from students' perceptions of students' learning motivation as indicated by the t-test significance value of 0.000 (Sig <0.05); (3) there was a positive and significant influence on teachers’ creativity and the role of parents as seen from students' perceptions of student learning motivation as indicated by the significance value of the F test of 0.000 (Sig < 0.05).

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji (1) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang kreativitas guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa; (2) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang peran orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa; (3) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang kreativitas guru dan peran orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X – XII Akuntansi dan Keuangan Lembaga pada salah satu SMK di Surakarta. Sampel yang diambil dari populasi penelitian sejumlah 175 siswa menggunakan teknik Proportionate Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kreativitas guru yang dilihat dari persepsi siswa terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi uji t sebesar 0,000 (Sig < 0,05); (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kreativitas guru dan peran orang tua yang dilihat dari persepsi siswa terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi uji F sebesar 0,000 (Sig < 0,05).
