PENERAPAN RECIPROCAL TEACHING MODEL BERBANTU MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DI SMK

Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the self regulated learning and study result of students in accounting study by implementing reciprocal teaching model with mind mapping help in adjustment journal. The type of this research is classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles, consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research is 1st accounting grade 10th in SMK X  with total number of students 26. Techniques of collecting data used were questionnaire, interview, test, and documentation. Data validation was conducted using method triangulation technique and content validity. The data analysis was conducted using statistic descriptive comparative and critical analyses. The result of research showed that the reciprocal teaching model with mind mapping help could improve the self regulated learning and learning result of students. Based on the result, gained the class average of study result in pre-cycles with the average value is 68,34 with the average student passing of 11,5%. After implementing of model, average of study result increased to 72,38 in cycle I with the average student passing 35% and to 79,80 in cycle II with the average student passing 81%. The increase also occurred in self regulated learning from 34,6% in pre-cycles become 61,5% in cycle I and to 84,6% in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is that accounting study by implementing reciprocal teaching model with mind mapping help in adjustment journal could be improve the self regulated learning and study result of students 1st accounting grade 10th in SMK X.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Akuntansi dengan penerapan reciprocal teaching model berbantu mind mapping pada materi Jurnal Penyesuaian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X AKL 1 SMK X yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan angket, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan trianggulasi teknik dan validitas isi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan reciprocal teaching model berbantu mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kondisi awal sebelum tindakan menunjukkan rata- rata nilai hasil belajar kognitif kelas sebesar 68,34 dengan rata-rata ketuntansan belajar peserta didik sebesar 11,5%. Setelah penerapan model pembelajaran rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 72,38 dengan rata-rata ketuntasan belajar sebesar 35% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,80 dengan rata-rata ketuntasan belajar sebesar 81%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada kemandirian belajar peserta didik pada siklus I 61,5% dan pada siklus II menjadi 84,6%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Akuntansi melalui reciprocal teaching model berbantu mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X AKL 1 SMK X.
