KEEFEKTIFAN MEDIA KOMIK TERHADAP MOTIVASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN AKUNTANSI DI SMK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the use of comic media on motivation in accounting learning at State Vocational High School. This research used the quasi experimental research method with non-equivalent control group design. Its population was all of the students as many as 324 of Accounting Expertise Program of State Vocational High School. Random sampling technique was used to determine its samples. The selected samples of the research were the students in Grade X AK 1 as control class and those in Grade X AK 2 as experimental class. Each of which consisted of 36 students. The data of the research were collected through questionnaire and documentation. The data of the research were analyzed by using the independent sample t-test. The result of the research shows that there was a differences in the effectiveness of comic media on motivation in accounting learning at State Vocational High School as indicated by the value of sig. (2-tailed) < α (0.000 <0.05). The students with comic learning media had a better motivation in accounting learning than those with conventional learning media.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media komik terhadap motivasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik program keahlian akuntansi di SMK yang berjumlah 324 peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X AK 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X AK 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 peserta didik dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat keefektifan media komik terhadap motivasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat melalui hasil pengujian hipotesis yang menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed)<α (0,000<0,05). Motivasi peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan media komik akuntansi lebih baik daripada motivasi peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional.
