TANTANGAN DAN PELUANG CIVITAS AKADEMIKA UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET DALAM MENGHADAPI ERA GLOBALISASI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

The development of science and technology is currently growing. With the spread of technological advance due to the influence of globalization today brings various effects, both beneficial and bad influences. The same matter also has an influence on progress in the world of teaching and learning, especially in universities, where teachers and students are required to be able to keep up with the current developments. Therefore, this study aims to find out what are the challenges and opportunities in teaching and learning activities between lecturers and students. The method used is qualitative, which the researcher will interview lecturers and also students at Sebelas Maret University Surakarta in facing the era of globalization during this covid pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic requires the academic community to be more creative in following health protocols so that the virus does not spread from individual to individual. There are many challenges to deal with amidst the development of technology and also the global situation where Covid-19 is still a public concern.
