KONTRIBUSI SISTEM JASA GENDONG DI PASAR TRADISIONAL TERHADAP UPAYA PENANGGULANGAN KEMISKINAN MELALUI SEKTOR INFORMAL

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) identify the economic background actors carrying service providers in traditional markets in Surakarta; (2) determine the extent of carrying services in traditional markets have contributed to the improvement of people's income and to support efforts to reduce poverty through the informal sector; (3) determine the carrying system management services has been done in the traditional markets in Surakarta; (4) examine the problems faced by service providers carrying on traditional markets; and (5) determine the needs and expectations of service providers carrying on the traditional markets to increase revenue.

This study is descriptive qualitative and quantitative research in which data will be collected through several methods including observation, interviews, discussions, and listening to the existing data. The use of multiple data collection methods as well as one tringulasi method to validate the data. To obtain reliable and valid data will also be used in the form of purposive sampling techniques snowball sampling method.

The results of this study indicate that factors significantly affect labor income carrying services are the working hours in the traditional markets and the positive effect of education level has a negative effect. The main expectations related workers carry the sustainability of their services is a serious effort related to minimum rates of transport and access to public transport to location because they get more difficult.
