Author Guidelines

PANDUAN PENULISAN ARTIKEL MAHASISWA

JURNAL KUMARA CEDEKIA

1. Artikel yang diterima oleh redaksi dapat berupa hasil penelitian dalam bidang pra sekolah(PAUD) yang belum dan tidak akan dipublikasikan dalam media cetak lain
2. Artikel dapat ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia sesuai dengan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI). Artikel dikirim kepada redaksi dengan mengupload pada jurnal kumara cendekia http://jurnal.uns.ac.id/kumara
3. Panjang artikel maksimum lima belas halaman dalam format dua kolom dengan ukuran kertas A4. Artikel ditulis dalam jarak 1,5 spasi. Jenis huruf yang digunakan adalah Times New Roman (font size 12)
4. Batas pengetikan tepi atas 3 (tiga) centimeter, tepi bawah 2 (dua) centimeter, sisi kiri 3 (tiga) centimeter dan sisi kana 2 (dua) centimeter
5. Artikel hasil penelitian berisi: judul, nama penulis, abstrak, pendahuluan, materi, metode penelitian, hasil penelitian, pembahasan, kesimpulan dan saran, serta daftar pustaka
6. Judul artikel harus spesifik dan sesingkat mungkin tapi jelas, ditulis seluruhnya dengan huruf kapital, bold, dan center text (maksimal 12 kata)
7. Nama penulis ditulis di bawah judul tanpa gelar diawali huruf kapital, bold, center text, dan tidak diawali dengan kata “oleh”. Apabila penulis lebih dari satu orang, semua nama dicantumkan secara lengkap 
8. Abstrak harus berbahasa Indonesia dan Inggris memuat semua inti permasalahan, cara pemecahannya, metode dan hasil penelitian, maksimum 12 kata, diketik satu spasi (font size 9). Usahakan abstrak termuat dalam satu halaman awal
9. Keyword maksimal lima kata/ frasa
10. Pendahuluan berisi kondisi yang diharapkan, kondisi nyata di lapangan, alternatif pemecahan masalah, keunikan masalah, literasi pustaka (teori) dengan sub judul (ditulis sebanyak lebih kurang 20% dari badan artikel)
11. Metode berisi pendekatan penelitian, jenis penelitian, tempat penelitian, subjek/ sampel dann populasi, validitas data, teknik pengumpulan data, teknik analisis data (ditulis sebanyak lebih kurang 10% dari badan artikel)
12. Hasil dan pembahasan berisi hasil penelitian dan analisis hasil penelitian (ditulis sebanyak lebih kurang 65% dari badan artikel)
13. Seluruh teks, gambar, grafik, dantabel berada di dalam batas kolom. Gambar atau tabel yang memerlukan tempat melebihi lebar batas kolom dapat diletakkan menyilang pada kolom-kolom tersebut
14. Judul gambar ditulis di bawah gambar, center text, dan tidak ditulis dengan singkatan Gb
15. Judul tabel ditulis di atas tabel, center text
16. Kesimpulan berisi hasil penelitian secara garis besar (ditulis sebanyak lebih kurang 5% dari badan artikel)
17. Halaman artikel terletak di bawah tengah
18. Daftar pustaka ditulis berdasarkan panudan APA edisi VI. Ditulis dalam spasi tunggal, diurutkan secara alphabetis dan kronologis. Sebagai contoh cara penulisan referensi / acuan di dalam daftar pustaka sebagai berikut:

• Borg, W.R. and Gall, M.D. 1982. Educational Research. Boston: Allyn and Bacon
• Budimansyah, D. 2008. Revitalisasi Pembelajaran PKn melalui Praktik belajar Kewarganegaraan (Project Citizen). Jurnal Acta Civicus, Vol. 1 No. 2 , April, 2008, 179-198.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
