PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DAN PENGUASAAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI (TIK)TERHADAP CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT COMPETENCY

Abstract
This study aimed to: (1) determine the effect of interpersonal communication on students’ classroom management competency, (2) determine the effect of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) mastery on students’ classroom management competency, and (3) determine the simultaneous effect of interpersonal communication and ICT mastery on students’ classroom management competency in the School Field Introduction Program (PLP). This research was a quantitative study conducted on 229 students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Sebelas Maret University who had participated in PLP. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results showed that: first, interpersonal communication had a significant effect on classroom management competency with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; second, ICT mastery did not have a significant partial effect with a significance value of 0.358 > 0.05; and third, simultaneously, interpersonal communication and ICT mastery had a significant effect on classroom management competency with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicated that although ICT mastery individually did not have a significant effect, its presence remained relevant when combined with interpersonal communication skills in supporting the effectiveness of classroom management among PLP students.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap classroom management competency mahasiswa, (2) mengetahui pengaruh penguasaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) terhadap classroom management competency mahasiswa, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan penguasaan TIK secara simultan terhadap classroom management competency mahasiswa dalam Program Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 229 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret yang telah mengikuti PLP. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap classroom management competency dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Kedua, penguasaan TIK tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial dengan nilai signifikansi 0,358 > 0,05. Ketiga, secara simultan, komunikasi interpersonal dan penguasaan TIK berpengaruh signifikan terhadap classroom management competency dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun penguasaan TIK secara individu tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan, keberadaannya tetap relevan ketika dikombinasikan dengan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dalam mendukung efektivitas classroom management mahasiswa PLP.
