PENGARUH PROJECT BASED LEARNING TERINTEGRASI STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS, AND MATHEMATICS) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN DI SMK NEGERI 1 SURAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) on students' creativity in entrepreneurship education at one vocational high school in Surakarta. This was a quantitative study using a quasiexperimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consists of two classes, an experimental class using the PjBL-STEAM model and a control class using the PjBL-Scientific model. Sampling was conducted using simple random sampling while data collection was carried out using creative thinking skill tests and observations. Content validity will be used as the validity testing technique. The results of the study prove that there was a significant difference between the creativity of students in the experimental class and the control class. This was proven through the results of the independent sample t-test with a significance of 0.037 (< 0.05), while the paired sample t-test shows a significance of 0.000 (< 0.05). The N-Gain calculation showed that the experimental class achieved an increase of 80.24% (effective category) compared to the control class at 60.7% (sufficiently effective category). These findings prove that the implementation of the PjBL-STEAM model was effective in enhancing students' creative thinking skills, particularly in entrepreneurship subjects at vocational high schools. .
