Jurnal Materi dan Pembelajaran Fisika (JMPF) was established in 2019 with the ISSN number: 2089-6158. Initially this journal was published through the website address: http://jurnal.fkip.uns.ac.id/index.php/physics. In 2017 there was a transfer of data and publications through the website address: https://jurnal.uns.ac.id/jmpf. Publication of this journal is under the coordination of the publisher i.e Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta.

In the beginning published twice in a year, in May and October.  Then continue published twice in a year with scheduled in May and November since Vol 13, No 1 (2023).
